Music Ministries
KidzArtz
For children K-6th grade. TBC’s ministry to children to help them experience the arts; music, drama, instruments, art, and movment in an atmosphere that also includes learning God’s word woven throughout the lesson times. Session 1- Sept-Dec. may include children choosing from a selection of arts activities. Session 2- Jan-June focuses on a musical performed at the beginning of summer.
Current KidArtz production Life School Musical will be presented June 06, 2010.
Senior Adult Choir
Senior Adult Choir practices Tuesday afternoons from 3:00-4:00 (except in July). We enjoy singing old favorites, have periodic worship specials, lead worship in assisted care facilities, and fellowship. No audition required. Join us if you're 55+.
Student Choir
"Student Choir” (7th grade thru college) rehearses in the student room at 5:15 on Wednesdays.
Instruments of Praise
TBC's "Stage Band" type group. Periodic practices covering music with the "Swing" style or "Jazz" style arrangements.
Moderate to high level of difficulty.
Orchestra
A true symphonic group preparing fully orchestrated pieces. Weekly rehearsal for specials, choir, and congregational worship accompaniment.
Audition is not required.
Praise Teams
These small ensembles are used to assist in leading worship by adding creative harmony and lead vocals. They lead with the choir or by themselves.
Audition is required.
Worship Choir
Worship Choir is the main worship leading group. They sing SATB parts and lead most Sundays. Youth through adults are eligible. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings at 6:00 (except in July).
